A score should explain its evidence and its limits.
Honquest describes observed professional behaviour. It does not measure a person's value, diagnose personality or predict suitability for a job.
What is measured
The initial questionnaire contains 24 behaviourally worded items across communication, collaboration, reliability, adaptability, problem solving and organisation. Every reviewer receives the same core items and can choose “Not observed”.
Who can respond
A response requires a unique invitation and confirmation of a declared professional overlap. The platform verifies access to the invited address and records the confirmation; this is stronger than an open link, but is not independent employment verification.
When results appear
Nothing is scored until five verified responses are complete. Relationship breakdowns also require at least five responses in that group and complementary suppression may hide additional groups to prevent deduction.
How scores are calculated
Valid responses use a five-point behavioural scale. Item means are transformed linearly to 0–100 for readability. Equal weighting is used in v0. A 95% statistical range, sample count and recency accompany each dimension.
What remains unvalidated
The questionnaire is a product hypothesis, not a scientifically validated instrument. Before high-stakes use it requires expert review, cognitive interviews, reliability analysis, measurement-invariance tests across languages and relationships, and ongoing bias monitoring.
How archetypes work
Labels such as “Collaborative catalyst” are deterministic summaries of the strongest measured dimension. No generative model infers hidden personality, emotion or employability.
